This beautiful Antique Edwardian Suffragette pendant has been commissioned in 18ct Yellow Gold. It features an ornate foliate design and boasts an impressive central Amethyst which weighs approx. 4ct. The pendant is also set with two gorgeous Peridots weighing approx. 0.05ct each and an array of Pearls.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which were chosen to counter the masculine women’s rights stereotypes put forward by opponents. Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes!
A beautiful pendant with a rich history that would look lovely on a gold chain.
